it's all in the name

I've been thinking.  I'm always thinking:-)  I don't really stop....

But, I've been thinking about what I could call myself/us IF I decided to do paid photography shoots.  I don't want it to be my name necessarily - Jase could very easily be actively involved one day (he is the one with the design degree - mines in education and health...) so in some ways it needs to encompass both of us...  I think photography needs to be in the 'name'.

My first thoughts were Lara Moss Photography, but if I type this in google there's a Laura Moss Photography - a 'u' is too close for my thinking....

I had toyed with...
Lara Jane Photography
Lara Jane Moss Photography
-but they seemed too much all 'me' with no room for Jase to be involved.

So I came up with a few other possibilities...
Moss Photography (there is an architectural one already in Denver Colorado - does this matter???)
KEA Moss Photography (KE&A being the initials of my three kids names)
Mr & Mrs Moss Photography - sounds a bit too 'weddingish'???
Holmes Moss Photography (my maiden name)
Lake Moss Photography (L - Lara & then AKE are my kids initials again - but Jase isn't in there...)

Any ideas that I am missing?  Again, this is a big 'if' -just a pie in the sky possibility...one day...maybe...

os so tricky the name thing, the Mr and Mrs Moss does sound very weddingish and too formal. I like Julie's suggestion. What thoughts does Jase and the kidlets have?

Before I read the other comments my first thought was KEA photography. Like it!

I wondered though if 'Kea Photography' makes you think I take photos of Keas?
What about Jase'nLara Photography?
or JakelMoss Photography (everyone's initials/family name)

Purging

The stuff can take over.  My stuff was covering my work surface and much of the bedroom floor.  I had to do a big sort out. I was brutal.   Stuff...ready to go. I packaged it in some storage totes I had that needed a new home (I’m waiting for my new CTMH travel system to arrive) and listed it on s local trading site.  It’s gone now. It doesn’t look pretty but I have a desk space and things are organised. The rest of my supplies now fit in this cupboard. Since the ‘purge’ I have had the space to create.  It feels good and it’s great to be able to get to my desk. A few pages made since the tidy up...and a box of 20 cards!

my week so far...

This week is turning out great!  Having time on Monday (Otago Anniversary Day) to scrap with Lynley was just the best beginning!  Lynley was putting together some beginner class stuff that she intends to do soon – it looked great!  I got home to an email from The Scrapbook Outlet NZ asking if I would be a casual/oncall designer for their Design Team – of course I accepted – can’t wait to learn from Rach , Donna & Shani!  Then today I get an email from Jo (subeditor @ Up2Scrap ) accepting one of my submissions – I did send a few mind you so as you can imagine I’m buzzing!  I have packaged the LO ready to send tomorrow after Playcentre. Need to get back to reality though – Mum & Dad’s 50th Birthday this weekend, have to work out what I’m going to say, sort some table decorations & not to mention some way of sharing pictures of them when I only have Friday night & Saturday to do it!  Have to do some Playcentre Admin work this ev...
