journal draw & the snow

Jase just pulled two names from a bowl for the journals..... AMANDA & ROCHELLE.

So please send me an email scrappykea at xtra dot co dot nz with your snail mail addy... I will post them, but it may take a week or so as I have a lot on this week :-) (Janine & Karen your PIF is coming... just me & the mail/post system don't get on too well.. guess it's cause I grew up rurally & we just put stuff in the mail box at the end of the drive & the mailperson took it away ... now I have to go to one of their specific buildings... just one of those things about being a townie!

Didn't feel too much like a townie today out at Waitiri though... kids played in the rocks and adults enjoyed some clay shooting & each others company.... nice veiw of the snow covered mountains too!

Ok must get on with SENZ preparation... back to work tomorrow... School, Playcentre.... & then off to Christchurch on Thursday :-)

sounds like a busy busy week ahead Lara. Have fun at SENZ. Had a giggle at you being a townie though and having to use that thing called a building to post stuff at. Love the shot of the snow in the background.

The snow photo looks beautiful Lara! Had to laugh about the mail being collected from the box... we had that on the farm and couldn't understand why the 'townie' people had to go to the shop to post their stuff :D Looking forward to meeting you at SENZ!!

New Grad

This month I used the 'Sunshine Vibes' bundle to create this layout for the Stampin' Up Artisan Design Team. Using die cuts to create stencils is a favourite way to create backgrounds for my scrapbook layouts. This bundle allowed me to do this and then to back some of the die cuts with in colour DSP.  Puffy hearts and fussy cut flowers add dimension. If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator already and want the supplies I have used, please visit: https://laramoss.stampinup.net and head to the shop to look for: Sunshine Vibes Bundle Mini Alphabet Dies Florals in Bloom DSP

Prickly Pear Blog Hop

Welcome to our Prickly Pear Blog Hop! We will be showcasing items from our Prickly Pear Paper Pack with various projects created by talented Close to my Heart consultants. If you are visiting from Brittany's blog then you are on the right track, if not please start at the CTMH Blog Challenge and Support Group Blog Hop Guidelines beginning with our hostess Carol . Next check out Diana’s blog. I have loved working with Prickly Pear - these are my kind of colours! I opened this pack up at a Scrapbooking Retreat and used it for most of my layouts over the weekend. There were a few! I also used some of my left overs from this kit to make a couple of cards that you can see in my YouTube process video (skip to 5.23 if you don't want the Design Space instructions :-) Thanks for visiting - I'd love for your to comment so I know you have been here :-) Next check out Diana’s blog.

Camping with Jack

Welcome to our Jack Blog Hop! We are going to share with you, items from our Jack Paper Pack with various projects created by talented Close To My Heart Consultants.  If you are visiting from Brenda's blog then you are on the right track, if not please head back to visit Carol's blog where this blog hop begins. Jack papers were a bit of a challenge for me, especially after my enjoyment of working with Prickly Pear last month.  Luckily I enjoy a challenge and have one layout, and a process video, to share with you here (there are some other pages and projects shared previously on my blog - after the blog hop you can pop back and check them out). The challenge here was using 3 photos.  I have become adept at choosing just one photo that tells a story and adding journaling so I don't always need lots of photos on a page or two. But as this was about an event, there were more photos to place.  I made use of the Camping Life stamps for embellishing and addi...
