missing teeth, dogs & collecting


played a little last night with the supplies I have in my crop bag. did some 6 x 12's. was a nice break from packing & cleaning :-)

Katya lost her first tooth this morning - much to her big sisters excitement (who is now trying to pull out her 4th tooth just so she doesn't miss out on the tooth fairy).

& I found this 'arrangement' outside. Ethan was away... Katya & Alicia had tied all sorts of things to the tree: fairy wings, blankets, baskets (a swing/bed for teddy) & even chairs. they 'camped' out on the trampoline & only those who had 'decorated' could come into their house! They will miss this tree at the new house!

The first lost tooth ... always exciting!

Scrapping vs cleaning/packing....I know which I would prefer lol. Love those 6 x 12's. Must try that size one day. All the best for your upcoming move Lara :-}

Wow Lara I really like these size layouts. Yours look terrific. Love the photos of your kids too.
Good luck with the housemoving - hope it manages to go off without a hitch and that it is no time at all until you are all settled in and feeling at home again.

Wahoo, I won one of the Awards For Excellence with For Keeps - for photography! I've just collected my prizes from a friends place - she went shopping to spend my $500 voucher at Scrapbookers Delight in Auckland for me - how cool is that a prize & a personal shopper!!!??? Any way I got quite a few bits of patterned paper, cardstocks (still need white!!!), a new trimmer, an embossing heat gun, some stazons, some distressing ink a new cutting mat, some cool powders, adhesives & tombow, anyway, have to go put it all in it's place so I can use it. Niks coming up tonight so we can play - have a tag to make for our cyber friend Sal of Scrap Of Faith as she had her fifth baby - Cowper early this morning - Congrats Sal! Cheese Rolls

Spread sliced bread with Cheese Spread (see below). Roll up. Toast in oven & serve hot. These may be frozen and heated when required! cheese spread: 1pkt onion soup; 500g tasty cheese - grated; a 400g tin of evaporated milk; Put all ingredients in a saucepan and heat slowly until cheese melts and mixture thickens. Stir well. When cool store in jars in the fridge for sandwhiches etc or put in your cheese rolls! Yep, the Up2Scrap Elite Design team has been announced - soo privileged & excited to be a part of it. Congrats to Donna , Rach , Lianne , Trina & Sue & thanks Steph & Jo for the opportunity:-) We have been in Invercargill overnight - nice to get away even if it is only for a night! We went to Queens Park & the Museum/Art Gallery today & the Art Gallery Cafe served these cheese rolls -yum! Such a lower South Island thing - but soo good!

thunderpants inspired

Here it is Karen - inspired by thunderpants! Had fun doodling. Love that I found that quote - fits the pic very aptly! Got my hands on clean & simple the sequel by Cathy Z today - such a good read so far!!! Also got a letter from Pride Publishing - they want one of my A-Z Lo's for publication in issue 44 - so exciting (just wish I live with a bunch of scrappers who understand what this means to me - but then I 'd have to share my stash!). Donna also got a letter - congrats Donna! (her links down to the lower right of my blog) To all those scrap camping - this weekend - hope it's a good one at whichever camp you are at. I'm looking forward to mine next weekend!
