New Grad

This month I used the 'Sunshine Vibes' bundle to create this layout for the Stampin' Up Artisan Design Team. Using die cuts to create stencils is a favourite way to create backgrounds for my scrapbook layouts. This bundle allowed me to do this and then to back some of the die cuts with in colour DSP.  Puffy hearts and fussy cut flowers add dimension. If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator already and want the supplies I have used, please visit: https://laramoss.stampinup.net and head to the shop to look for: Sunshine Vibes Bundle Mini Alphabet Dies Florals in Bloom DSP

Creative Project

My creative project for the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team went 'off the page' with a reverse canvas sampler.  Using a canvas the 'wrong way' gives a shadow box effect and adding lots of little hearts decorated in a variety of ways gives the 'days gone by' embroidery sampler concept a new twist. For this project I have used  Memories in Bloom Suite Bee Builder Punch Notes and Totes stamps Extraordinary Flora stamps If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up! 'Make a Memory Scrapbooking Kit

This was an easy way to get lots of memory keeping done at a crop yesterday!  7 layouts created and I put together another one from the kit today.  There is still more left in the kit box to make 2 - 3 more layouts! I made a few additions - some stamping, splattering, stitching and threads to add some texture and background interest. Head to the shop to check out this kit!

Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team - applications are open!

I am half way through my year as an Artisan Design Team Member with Stampin' Up! and applications are currently open for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators to apply.  I have enjoyed this opportunity, the creative experiences, the teams I get to work with and the lovely supplies we are given (always exciting to see new design briefs and what arrives in my Artisan boxes). Over on Instagram, the current team is running a hop where we are all documenting in some way, what it has meant to be an Artisan. Look up @scrappykea to check out the links to the rest of the teams projects.
