New Grad

This month I used the 'Sunshine Vibes' bundle to create this layout for the Stampin' Up Artisan Design Team. Using die cuts to create stencils is a favourite way to create backgrounds for my scrapbook layouts. This bundle allowed me to do this and then to back some of the die cuts with in colour DSP.  Puffy hearts and fussy cut flowers add dimension. If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator already and want the supplies I have used, please visit: https://laramoss.stampinup.net and head to the shop to look for: Sunshine Vibes Bundle Mini Alphabet Dies Florals in Bloom DSP

Creative Project

My creative project for the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team went 'off the page' with a reverse canvas sampler.  Using a canvas the 'wrong way' gives a shadow box effect and adding lots of little hearts decorated in a variety of ways gives the 'days gone by' embroidery sampler concept a new twist. For this project I have used  Memories in Bloom Suite Bee Builder Punch Notes and Totes stamps Extraordinary Flora stamps If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator already and want the supplies I have used, please visit: https://laramoss.stampinup.net and head to the shop.

'Make a Memory Scrapbooking Kit

This was an easy way to get lots of memory keeping done at a crop yesterday!  7 layouts created and I put together another one from the kit today.  There is still more left in the kit box to make 2 - 3 more layouts! I made a few additions - some stamping, splattering, stitching and threads to add some texture and background interest. Head to the shop to check out this kit!

Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team - applications are open!

I am half way through my year as an Artisan Design Team Member with Stampin' Up! and applications are currently open for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators to apply.  I have enjoyed this opportunity, the creative experiences, the teams I get to work with and the lovely supplies we are given (always exciting to see new design briefs and what arrives in my Artisan boxes). Over on Instagram, the current team is running a hop where we are all documenting in some way, what it has meant to be an Artisan. Look up @scrappykea to check out the links to the rest of the teams projects. Everyday You & Me - the Lara version

Stampin' Up! has produced 4 fantastic Scrapbooking Workshops.  The Everyday You and Me Workshop is just one of these.  Workshops come with supplies to create 3 double page layouts including a cutting guide and instructions.  For my customers who purchase this Workshop, I have created a guide to create 6 single page layouts as this is what most of us create and it gives another option. You can purchase the kit HERE If you sign up with me and include your email address so I can contact you, I'll email the instructions for your personal use to create these 6 pages.

You've Been On My Mind

My first contribution to the Artisan Design Team was to use the Sale-A-Bration Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper and the Memory Blooms Bundle.  I dare you to use 'bare' stamped images - no added colouring on your crafting projects. .     If any of these projects interest you head to my website to purchase products to make them and you can get the Bloom Impressions DSP free with $125 NZ order until February 28th 2025.

Beach Walk 2/52

This year I am joining a YouTube hop to document a photo each week.  To keep this manageable, I have decided to use a 6 x 8 Album to record my favourite photo from each week. You can see this layout coming together in a process video on YouTube: To purchase supplies used in this layout, please check my Stampin' Up! Shop

Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team

So excited to be part of the Artisan Design Team for Stampin' Up! in 2025! I joined Stampin’ Up! in 2024 and have appreciated the warm welcome given to former Close To My Heart™ Makers. I love creating layouts, cards, mini albums, and off-the-page projects, and find joy in sharing my work and inspiring others. My main focus is scrapbooking, a passion I attribute to my grandmothers, who kept daily diaries. While I may not have their consistency, scrapbooking allows me to curate and document life’s moments pictorially. I also value the long-term friendships that regular craft days and weekend retreats have given me—which is another one of our hobby’s benefits. Outside of crafting, I teach at a local primary school. I enjoy photography and tasty cafĂ© experiences, loving walks and weekends at the beach. I need a good espresso to kickstart my day, even when I’m away from home. Instant coffee just doesn’t cut it. I’m thrilled to be part of the Artisan Design Team for 2025 and can’t wait ...
