Andrea from Scrapbook Outlet came to the rescue in time for Katya's birthday - sending me one of each of the smash folios so I could choose one for her. I love them all and have big plans for each and every one e.g. one is for 'me' and one is for our trip to the North Island last year. They make great gifts too. I could make one...but at under $30, I don't think so.
I have been 'back to school' for a couple of weeks now (we started back a week and a half before the kids started) and this year is off to a great start. I'm trying to do school stuff from Monday to Friday - not weekends, from 8-5 most days with some exemptions at Report writing time, parent teacher interviews etc. But mostly if it isn't done in that timeframe it possibly isn't that important in the scheme of things. I have a great group of students in my class this year - newbies again, love their keenness!

good on you ... Monday to Friday sounds good to me ... you should then have a 'life' then ... you know what I mean!
So cool to see Katya's too! Loving seeing all these SMASH books all over the place but also what an awesome memory yours will be for your children!
Balance is good and what one needs. Hard when you're a teacher I know. How's the cave going?
