I'm thinking this was the hardest dare yet! Wasn't till I saw a layout of Roos that I decided I could actually do this dare, love that the dares help keep me on my toes & thinking rather than just doing what I already know. Thanks NZ dares team!

Purging

The stuff can take over.  My stuff was covering my work surface and much of the bedroom floor.  I had to do a big sort out. I was brutal.   Stuff...ready to go. I packaged it in some storage totes I had that needed a new home (I’m waiting for my new CTMH travel system to arrive) and listed it on s local trading site.  It’s gone now. It doesn’t look pretty but I have a desk space and things are organised. The rest of my supplies now fit in this cupboard. Since the ‘purge’ I have had the space to create.  It feels good and it’s great to be able to get to my desk. A few pages made since the tidy up...and a box of 20 cards!

August Stitch and Colour Layout Kit

My friend Claire organises a scrap day at a hotel near where she lives every six weeks or so.  A few of the ladies asked me to create a kit for them and so my 'Scrappy Kea Layout Kits' started!  These kits have cutting guides and instructions as well as the papers, cardstock, images and embellishments needed to create the layouts - just add your own basics e.g. black ink, adhesive, trimmer and photos. After Sharing the layouts, there was a bit of interest from other Makers for the instructions and cutting guides.  I'm not sure I'm ready to share these far and wide just yet but it is something I am considering as a possibility!   Close To My Heart generally has lovely layout guides with each collection they create too - if you love double page layouts these are the way to go.  My kits are single page layouts which is what I and most of the ladies I create with prefer. Layouts created with the August Stitch & Colour Kit: What leads you to buy scrapbooking kits?   Wh

Grateful Heart CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to our Grateful Heart Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop. Where we hope to inspire you to use the 'Grateful Heart' collection. If you have arrived here from Doreen's Blog   then you are in the right place. If you have visited from a link elsewhere, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.   Grateful Heart wasn't my favourite collection in the current Seasonal Expressions (my favourite will be featured in December) but I enjoy a challenge and ended up enjoying the process of creating with it.  I made good use of the Seasons Mix-Ins to soften the autumnal colours (it's Spring here at the moment). For these layouts and a couple of cards, I also used the October Stamp Of the Month. My first layout using Grateful Heart was put together with a process video and you can go to my previous post HERE . I had packed the Grateful Heart Workshops Your Way Kit, along with my Cricut and the Seasons Mix Ins in my travel bags
