today's efforts

well some of them any way - did a couple of others but haven't taken the pics & did some CJ entries - can't post them or the owner might peek!

Ethan is finally out of nappies in the day time - the inspiration for this layout, for which I had the pp all ready and waiting.

The next is from a challenge where last week I had to get pics of me & my babies, then this week - had to scrap them!!(Thanks Vicky). I got to use my new Lil Davis foam stamps along with some of the HS chipboard letters I got for my birthday (love the self adhesive letters).

The last one is one I have had waiting and taunting me for a while & I used things I used to use a lot of but till about 5 weeks ago didn't use much - bright colours & hand journalling - I had started using the computer a lot but I found that I would put off journaling till later & sometimes it wouldn't get done till much, much later (I'm thinking of 2 LO I did last year still waiting for the 'official journaling' - there is a draft). Lately I've been doing it all manually - sometimes using computer fonts - but hand drawing them then cutting out or writing straight on the LO - I think this is more me. I'm enjoying it more & getting more complete which has to be good?

very productive Lara! I went to scrap in Tauranga with Yolande today ... didn't finish the class layouts (not sure what photos to use yet), did a 6x6 layout on chipboard for which I plan to buy magnet strips so the gift can go on the fridge, made a card for a friend, scribbled instructions for a boxed album Yolande demo-ed last month ... not so much finished ... I will have to get busy after tomorrow's bike ride.

Hi Lara,

These are great layouts!

Congrats to no more day time nappies for Ethan - well done!

And no, I never did get that gift from Olivia - she wanted to get me some ribbon but my stash is overflowing, so we just stuck with getting gifts for her and Charlotte!

Thanks for stopping by my blog :-)

Great LOs Lara. I'm with you on the journalling thing. I'm a real procrastinator with journaling but have tried to focus on it as part of the design lately. I'm still nervous handwriting on my work!
Great re the nappies, that is such a huge milestone ... esp with boys!

Yep, I agree with the hand journaling. For the past few months I've been computer journaling but it's just not as spontaneous. I think handwriting is so much more personal

New Grad

This month I used the 'Sunshine Vibes' bundle to create this layout for the Stampin' Up Artisan Design Team. Using die cuts to create stencils is a favourite way to create backgrounds for my scrapbook layouts. This bundle allowed me to do this and then to back some of the die cuts with in colour DSP.  Puffy hearts and fussy cut flowers add dimension. If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator already and want the supplies I have used, please visit: https://laramoss.stampinup.net and head to the shop to look for: Sunshine Vibes Bundle Mini Alphabet Dies Florals in Bloom DSP

Prickly Pear Blog Hop

Welcome to our Prickly Pear Blog Hop! We will be showcasing items from our Prickly Pear Paper Pack with various projects created by talented Close to my Heart consultants. If you are visiting from Brittany's blog then you are on the right track, if not please start at the CTMH Blog Challenge and Support Group Blog Hop Guidelines beginning with our hostess Carol . Next check out Diana’s blog. I have loved working with Prickly Pear - these are my kind of colours! I opened this pack up at a Scrapbooking Retreat and used it for most of my layouts over the weekend. There were a few! I also used some of my left overs from this kit to make a couple of cards that you can see in my YouTube process video (skip to 5.23 if you don't want the Design Space instructions :-) Thanks for visiting - I'd love for your to comment so I know you have been here :-) Next check out Diana’s blog.

Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team - applications are open!

I am half way through my year as an Artisan Design Team Member with Stampin' Up! and applications are currently open for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators to apply.  I have enjoyed this opportunity, the creative experiences, the teams I get to work with and the lovely supplies we are given (always exciting to see new design briefs and what arrives in my Artisan boxes). Over on Instagram, the current team is running a hop where we are all documenting in some way, what it has meant to be an Artisan. Look up @scrappykea to check out the links to the rest of the teams projects. You can see my project coming together and hear me talk a bit about the Artisan Journey in this video : If you live in New Zealand and want some of the creative supplies I have used in this project, please head to:  https://laramoss.stampinup.net/   Supplies used in this project: Two-Toned Cardstock: Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Darling Duckling, Summer Splash, Timid Tiger Designer Series Paper: Turtle-y C...
