created this wall hanging - measures about 6 x 12 - based on the 'word' challenge for the Scrap Of Faith blog this month.

Need to be reminded of this from time to time!

use your mail challenge

a little challenge I posted at Scrapbook Outlet NZ... go to the forum & check it out!

it's based on using your mail... & I want to narrow down my ideas for altering this:

hence I set the challenge to get people's ideas!

It closes at the start of the SBO cyber crop on Friday 29th!

SISTV

I created these in response to a more simple challenge at SIS... as part of a project runway set of challenges... the fourth one was sent off & I can't share yet. Basically we weren't to use too many embellishments... I loved this challenge & as I created 4 in one avo soo easily, think I'll do it some more :-)

Below is the soon to be released 'Urban Prep' kit from SIS. It's available for PreOrder until 24th August... for New Zealanders it's fun getting some stuff that every other kiwi scrapper doesn't have even though you have to add in postage and currency conversions. Check out that green... one of my fave colours at the moment. There's a deal going on with the kits this month (not just that if I do this wee advertorial I have a chance to win one) but also if you spend $50 you also get a $10 gift card! So check out SIS Boutique for more info! Annother thing I have to say is: supercalifragilisticexpialadocious (hope I spelt it right).

& the last layout in the 'simple', less embellishments challenge:

zippered pouches

learned how to make these from a webisode on SIS - thanks Rhi.
the blue one (felt) is for my sons pencils... he thought it was fantastic and carried it around like a 'man bag' at Church on Sunday. The others are for my teaching stuff... since I move from class to class it's handy having a separate pencil case, sticker pouch, stamp pouch etc. fun. the girls have some too but I made them last week & they have them at school.

Sketchbook Olympics & Snow

A competition not to be missed... check out the forum at Sketchbook New Zealand for details!

The kids built this snowman on Thursday evening.... Schools were cancelled on Friday & this morning we woke to even more snow... but then it rained :-(

I created this using the Scrapbook Outlet's August Kit... it's a little booklet for recording messages and notes between me and the girls. below are some shots of the inside of it :-)

I've had a cold all week... would like it to go away now!
Enjoy your weekend/week... till next time....

p.s. loving being back at school teaching and have some very cool classes.... really loving numeracy too!
