I started working on this after seeing one in Up2Scrap & wanted to avoid the children's character ones with a chocolate. I can't imagine I"ll work on it again till next November/December now but thought I post what I have done. I'm going to put bible verses & things we can do together on the lead up to Christmas.

Lara your calendar looks great you should keep doing it so that it is finished before next year.
By the way finally put something on my blog and even managed to post a picture so may get round to posting more often.
Also thanks for the Christmas card you sent nice to see we have some things in common.
Wow awesome Lara. I too saw that in Up2Scrap but just can't bring myself to scrap Xmas stuff yet. Can't wait to see it finished.
The advent calendar is a lovely idea. I only wish (last year) I'd seen it earlier in the year ... but I reckon you've got the best idea - start now in January so it's ready (no rush) for December.

I love this - I so hate those chocolate Bob the Builder "Advent' calendars. There's nothing Advent about them. I think I'll have to do one (two?)of these for next year, too.
Awesome Lara! I might do two of these as well! So much more personal and more fun than a chocolate one that falls down the back/melts or is just plain missing! Good on you!
