Bop It

 
Fun.
Four kids here taking turns with it.
Stayed with friends last weekend and their family enjoyed playing the game...so did we and a shopping expedition last night saw us coming home with it.  
Different game options...solo, pass it & party as well as different levels you can unlock...
The party game reminds me a little of hackey sack games when at uni.
Miss 10 asked if we can play it with the whole family tonight.
What games do you play as a family or do you remember playing as a kid with the whole family?

what a blast from the past, my folks have "bop it" they got it has a xmas present about 8 or 9 years ago. It is hours of fun as you now. Family games was uno, monoply and ludo and snakes and ladders and battleships. I came from a family where we had a lot of board games and were encouraged to play them too. All of the above games I mentioned have special memories for me, because of some of the people I played them with.

Enjoy creating some new family memories with "bop it" Lara.

Jamie got Bop it for her birthday & we love playing it!
I grew up in a household where board games were always being played. We always got new games for Christmas.
My girls love playing board games to & I always try to get them a new one for birthday or xmas. Favourites at our place are Monopoly, Snap & Toss the Cookies.

Purging

The stuff can take over.  My stuff was covering my work surface and much of the bedroom floor.  I had to do a big sort out. I was brutal.   Stuff...ready to go. I packaged it in some storage totes I had that needed a new home (I’m waiting for my new CTMH travel system to arrive) and listed it on s local trading site.  It’s gone now. It doesn’t look pretty but I have a desk space and things are organised. The rest of my supplies now fit in this cupboard. Since the ‘purge’ I have had the space to create.  It feels good and it’s great to be able to get to my desk. A few pages made since the tidy up...and a box of 20 cards!

Cheese Rolls

Spread sliced bread with Cheese Spread (see below). Roll up. Toast in oven & serve hot. These may be frozen and heated when required! cheese spread: 1pkt onion soup; 500g tasty cheese - grated; a 400g tin of evaporated milk; Put all ingredients in a saucepan and heat slowly until cheese melts and mixture thickens. Stir well. When cool store in jars in the fridge for sandwhiches etc or put in your cheese rolls! Yep, the Up2Scrap Elite Design team has been announced - soo privileged & excited to be a part of it. Congrats to Donna , Rach , Lianne , Trina & Sue & thanks Steph & Jo for the opportunity:-) We have been in Invercargill overnight - nice to get away even if it is only for a night! We went to Queens Park & the Museum/Art Gallery today & the Art Gallery Cafe served these cheese rolls -yum! Such a lower South Island thing - but soo good!

a catch up

Spent last night in Invers. We had a family dinner for dh's Nanny. We did a brief shop @ Farmers (none in the Wakatip) & went to Splash Palace this morning & BK for lunch (there's no BK here either!). Here are my 21 Challenge pages for the last three days. The hardest one was the Eleanor Roosevelt quote as I'm not sure what scares me - other than a lingering death while my children are still young, or one of them or dh being harmed in some way but even then I have a faith that gives me hope & assurance of a future. So I decided to apply this to my art or my creating - to try something new each day - even if it scares me. Day 4's quote was a goodie - I find that I make decisions all the time & this confirms that I am 'qualified' to make them. I used the pic of Katya for Day 6 as her blowing dandilion heads across the play area indicates this freedom & exploration of the world around. Watching her reminds me of the beauty & wonder al...
