Easter Weekend

went down to Henley on Saturday. Had a birthday dessert time to celebrate Granny's birthday & to get some family pictures. They were taken @ night time so am interested to see what they look like when printed. So not up on editing my pics after they've been taken - need to work on my ability to eliminate red eye & lighting - when printed ones I've worked on look 'fake' to me!

Loved seeing the children playing ball on the lawn (that Pa had to mow on Granny's insistence). Guess I should take them & a ball down the drive more often for some big open playing spaces.

Couldn't believe how they became soo attached to the television @ the farm since we've removed it from our living room! Makes me pleased I've done this. Posted by Picasa

Hey but look what they are watching - isn't that Pooh & Tigger?
We've just had our 2 at their grandparents with empty sections around - open spaces! They are not used to it!

The kids looked like they were having heaps of fun, what a great day. Good on you for removing the TV, if I did that I don't think I would ever hear the end of it from my kids...lol, the good thing about Josh going to Kindy full-time is he doesn't get to see TV much these days which is a good thing and Jo limits Emily's time so the kids a getting into a better routine now, the computer has become my TV now....lol, don't know if thats good or bad!!!

Love the backview of the line-up ... that's funny! TV, particularly when it's a rarity, can be riveting.

I like those photos that aren't doctored. They're like the ones everyone used to take. Remember - before we had Photoshop we couldn't change them -they were what they were!

New Grad

This month I used the 'Sunshine Vibes' bundle to create this layout for the Stampin' Up Artisan Design Team. Using die cuts to create stencils is a favourite way to create backgrounds for my scrapbook layouts. This bundle allowed me to do this and then to back some of the die cuts with in colour DSP.  Puffy hearts and fussy cut flowers add dimension. If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator already and want the supplies I have used, please visit: https://laramoss.stampinup.net and head to the shop to look for: Sunshine Vibes Bundle Mini Alphabet Dies Florals in Bloom DSP

Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team - applications are open!

I am half way through my year as an Artisan Design Team Member with Stampin' Up! and applications are currently open for Stampin' Up! Over on Instagram, the current team is running a hop where we are all documenting in some way, what it has meant to be an Artisan. Look up @scrappykea to check out the links to the rest of the teams projects. You can see my project coming together and hear me talk a bit about the Artisan Journey in this video : If you live in New Zealand and want some of the creative supplies I have used in this project, please head to:  https://laramoss.stampinup.net/   Supplies used in this project: Two-Toned Cardstock: Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Darling Duckling, Summer Splash, Timid Tiger Designer Series Paper: Turtle-y C...
