the seasider

I think I posted some pics of our seasider train trip a while back....here's a layout I have done with a couple of the photos :-) Used some of the We R Memory Keepers Paper I got from SBO a few weeks ago, have wanted to use it for ages and finally found a use.

Retreat planning underway and some really cool treats in varying stages of completion!
Jase aka Chef Moss is dreaming up our menu for the Saturday night 'special' dinner.

Had a nice relaxed Queens Birthday Weekend finished off last night with pizza for dinner at a friends. Alicia's netball team got their 2nd goal this week for the season...don't laugh too much...it's funny to watch and they try so hard and are enjoying it...even if the other team got 24 goals! Our new aim is for them to get a goal per half rather than just 'a goal'!

Busy teaching, have picked up another class for an hour each day which I'm loving. Have taken a couple of Playcentre Workshops too for the adults wanting to gain skills for teaching at the Playcentres and have 3 more coming up this weekend and next week. Love that I still get to be a 'part' of Playcentre and I haven't had to leave it completely:-)

Smiles.

Go Alicia and her team - isn't it s shame when the teams in a league are mis-matched. We've had that in lots of sports. We just remind them to have fun. Hope she is enjoying it.

New Grad

This month I used the 'Sunshine Vibes' bundle to create this layout for the Stampin' Up Artisan Design Team. Using die cuts to create stencils is a favourite way to create backgrounds for my scrapbook layouts. This bundle allowed me to do this and then to back some of the die cuts with in colour DSP.  Puffy hearts and fussy cut flowers add dimension. If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator already and want the supplies I have used, please visit: https://laramoss.stampinup.net and head to the shop to look for: Sunshine Vibes Bundle Mini Alphabet Dies Florals in Bloom DSP

Prickly Pear Blog Hop

Welcome to our Prickly Pear Blog Hop! We will be showcasing items from our Prickly Pear Paper Pack with various projects created by talented Close to my Heart consultants. If you are visiting from Brittany's blog then you are on the right track, if not please start at the CTMH Blog Challenge and Support Group Blog Hop Guidelines beginning with our hostess Carol . I opened this pack up at a Scrapbooking Retreat and used it for most of my layouts over the weekend. There were a few! I also used some of my left overs from this kit to make a couple of cards that you can see in my YouTube process video (skip to 5.23 if you don't want the Design Space instructions :-) Thanks for visiting - I'd love for your to comment so I know you have been here :-) Next check out Diana’s blog.

Camping with Jack

Welcome to our Jack Blog Hop! We are going to share with you, items from our Jack Paper Pack with various projects created by talented Close To My Heart Consultants.  If you are visiting from Brenda's blog then you are on the right track, if not please head back to visit Carol's blog where this blog hop begins. Jack papers were a bit of a challenge for me, especially after my enjoyment of working with Prickly Pear last month.  Luckily I enjoy a challenge and have one layout, and a process video, to share with you here (there are some other pages and projects shared previously on my blog - after the blog hop you can pop back and check them out). The challenge here was using 3 photos.  I have become adept at choosing just one photo that tells a story and adding journaling so I don't always need lots of photos on a page or two. But as this was about an event, there were more photos to place.  I made use of the Camping Life stamps for embellishing and addi...
